  Dr. Erik Deurell obtained his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his pediatrics residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.  After finishing his residency he worked as a medical missionary in Kenya at an HIV orphanage before returning to the Massachusetts General Hospital as an attending physician in the pediatric emergency room and associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard medical school.  He has since been a pediatric emergency room director and has established a network of after hour and primary care pediatrics clinics.  He is currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management.
